Michel Marchand

Michel Marchand is one of the founders of Marchand Melançon Forget, itself one of the predecessors of Lapointe Rosenstein Marchand Melançon.

He focused his practice, as counselor and litigator in a number of civil and administrative tribunals, at first in civil law, concentrating on insurance law and civil and commercial liability, then, at the start of the 1980s, in business law, in particular in matters relating to securities, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.

During his career, Michel sat for several years on the board of directors of two public corporations and of a major Montreal hospital.
