Lapointe Rosenstein Marchand Melançon is proud to announce the appointment of Antonietta Melchiorre as a member of the Conseil de la justice administrative du Québec for a three-year term. She was selected by the Cabinet of Quebec, responsible for the composition of this Conseil.

This governmental body's primary mission is to ensure compliance with the ethical obligations of the judges of the province's various administrative tribunals and the Bureau des présidents des conseils de discipline. Its functions also include submitting recommendations to the Minister of Justice regarding the administration of administrative justice in Québec.

Ten of the Conseil's nineteen members come from the five tribunals under its jurisdiction. Such is the case of Antonietta, a part-time administrative judge at the Tribunal administratif des marchés financiers.

Antonietta is a partner at Lapointe Rosenstein Marchand Melançon. She has been practicing in the firm’s Civil and Commercial Litigation group since she was admitted to the Bar in 1992. Antonietta also acts as an arbitrator and is a certified mediator.
